    Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NZ has two eventers doing dressage today. Drysdale vs Norwegian Double Gold medalist in single sculls. That seems to be the heat for Single Sculls. Having to delay record both the three-day eventing and rowing

Can't wait for the mens gymnastic prelims and the swimming. I'll only be able to get highlights of the road race and also recording handball.

I'm looking forward to the mens prelims too, the portuguese gymnast is actually my age, major kudos to him

Women's beach volley must be the biggest wtf ever, I mean they play bullfighting riffs and say oles during the damn thing and the athletes are very close to playing in the buff, really, why? The men's outfits look victorian by comparison.

RTE already plugging the Irish connections. Danny Boyle's parents are from Ballinasloe, so he's Irish really.

Hah! I'm streaming the cycling here in the US and I'm amused at the name of the lone Canadian entry. Ryder. Seems fated that he would become a cyclist.

Loving the rowing too! The GB women's pair were fab! Also loving the fact that all the BBC Olympic channels have been added as proper Sky channels in the sports section - means it'll be possible to put stuff in the programme planner and Sky plus it! Much better than just the red button! Go BBC!

Ok WTF is going on with Canada in rowing?! Men's eight was 12 seconds behind, and another entry about the same... yikes... not exactly inspiring confidence for the future...
