Sharapova's outfit is so cute; love teh blue line in the back.

I'm going to guess a Serena-Maria S.-Vika podium. Which would be nice given how well all three have played this year

That's the podium I see too, probably in that order though I'd love it if Maria won over Serena. I admire Serena's undeniable athleticism but I prefer Maria's playing overall.

I really want Vika to win. She's my girl. But I can't see her beating Serena unless she plays out of her mind.

I prefer both Maria and Vika to Serena for various reasons, but I really do enjoy Serena's game - sometimes her personality and aggressiveness against officials really bothers me more than anything. But I'm expecting her to win.

I would love for Maria S to win. Get herself a gold at the venue where she arrived on the international stage.

Serena has proven herself a great champion, but i agree that things about her playing personality bother me. I don't like her aggression, her glare and demeanor on court, and how she's treated officials on court and opponents off court. That service is pretty darn good, though!!

    Should be fun to watch!

Yes, I'm hoping tomorrow isn't the day that Del Potro (who I like a lot, but Roger is my fave!) finally gets that elusive win over Roger since returning from wrist surgery. Wait until one of the Masters events!

The Murray/Djokovic match will be interesting! After his great showing at Wimbledon, I think Murray will pull off the upset!

I think that's possible, but Novak goes into super-human mode when playing for Serbia. It will be an interesting match for sure.

Very true this. Should still be fun to watch though.

Haven't been in here that much due to also being in the Gymnastics and Swimming threads so much this week. Only thing I don't like about the Olympics is when so many of my favourite sports overlap like that. Oh well...Not much you can do but see as much as possible and follow the rest of it in here.

BTW, I am so impressed w/how fast the Wimbledon Staff and Crew(s) managed to have everything in such great shape in such a short amount of time. I really was wondering how they'd manage to pull this off when there was such a short time between now and the end of The Championships, but they managed it and well at that. Kudos to them!!

It would be nice for them to get the Olympic Gold - it would complete their collection and cement them as one of the greatest doubles teams of all times!!

Frick, Roger!! Start playing better...he's making errors all over the place. At this rate Del Potro will win

Thank goodness there are no third set tie-breaks, it's so much more fun this way!

Right now I greatly appreciate the four screen Olympic channel that Bell created for the Olympics. I can watch tennis and trampoline! Though tennis is scary to watch...
