    Olympic Tennis: Back to Wimbledon!

Draws have been announced for Men, Ladies, & Doubles!

Murray vs. Wawrinka in the 1st Round!

Maybe Djokovic vs. Roddick in the 2nd.

Wikipedia's rather thorough page. Go to "Medal Summary" subsection "Events" and click on the individual disciplines to see the draws.

Ooh a good draw for NZ player Marina Erakovic. We're facing Canadian Wozniak. Winner goes on to meet V Williams or Errani.

Hmm S Williams vs Jankovic first round match. Nice.

I think this is a very good draw for Roger. Tsonga, Djokovic and Murray are all on the other half of the draw.

I'd say it's a good draw for Canadian Wozniak they're 1-1 against each other and haven't played in four years. That being said Marina thrashed Aleks in their one meeting on grass, but Aleks is so much more improved and recovered from injury so I do hope she wins this one as much as I like Marina.

Vasek against Ferrer - Vasek going to be destoryed

Milos also has a tough draw.

I think Vasek/Nestor got a potentially good draw, Serbs are very beatable even if they are #3 seeds.

Wawrinka-murray in the first round?! Federer-Falla could be very interesting... Poor Jankovic, she's going out.

ETA - Federer has a cakewalk draw

Yes I'd like to think Marina would win but at the least she has a good chance just as the Canadian player does. Whoever wins will have a much tougher second round match. I haven't entirely kept up with Erakovic. I know she too was injured for a while and was well out of the top 100 rankings for a time. There were questions of her selection. New Zealand's Olympic Committee are fairly strict with an expectation usually of a top 16 finish. So happy she made it.

It is Roger's year, just got a feeling. It is the only one he is missing. He will then be considered as the greatest ever! More than Sampras.

Bumping this thread 'cause I didn't see it.

Michelle Obama is watching Serena play. If this were two years ago when JJ cared, this could've been a good match.

Harrison out to Giraldo, Darcis over Berdych, Cornet beats Paszek - all upsets.

Great to see Isner advance, he's from my hometown.

And quick question: on the official results site, instead of listing winners on the left, losers on the right, they are mixing them up. I wonder why b/c it's very distracting.

If Roger wins this match he has to play Benneteau next. It's like a greatest hits of his biggest struggles at Wimbledon.

I'm sad that Falla has to face Federer so early. He's a good grass courter who could have made it farther with a kinder draw.

Well, he's playing well and Roger isn't. Way to give up a break and three break points, Roger.

I can't watch. I get too nervous for him.

Roger safely through . Falla's a great grass player so I'm not surprised by how tough that match was.

Saw highlights of Harrison's match. Seems he has taken up Roddick's throne of throwing temper tantrums and acting like a brat.
