Olympic Champion SURVIVOR: Ladies ROUND 2

Okay, it's time for Round 2 of Olympic Champion SURVIVOR -- Ladies!

In Round 2, same rule apply: two will be eliminated.

In Round 1, we said goodbye to:

In 12th place: SARAH HUGHES (Sarah, you jumped all those triples, but came up a bit short)

In 11th place: BEATRIX SCHUBA (We still love ya' Trixi... you cut a fine figure)

Really disappointed about Schuba but oh well.

I voted Baiul. Though if I could vote again it'd be for Fleming.

Don't you just hate it when someone completely dominates the field, wins an ogm in a complete landslide out scoring by far all the competition in every phase, then become a rich and famous icon of the sport. damn those madly talented skaters!

After watching Poetzsch on youtube, as much as I can't stand Baiul, I have to vote for the former.

In terms of Olympic performances, Sjouke is next. Then Baiul, Poetsch, Fleming, Hamill, Witt, Yamaguchi, Lipinski, then Kim.

Yuna Kim really laid it all down, the best Oly performance ever IMO. 1RU to Lipinski because she achieved impossible/highly improbably with that performance.

Down with Annette and Oksana for Trixie's premature departure!

It is terrible Schuba is already out, and out before Poetzsch of all people. Poetzsch is not even close to the figures legend Schuba is, and her free skating is only marginally more plausible.

I'm really surprised that Oksana Baiul has not already been voted off because of all the Olympic Champion's I think she really should not have won. All of the others there are positive arguments to be made why they won.
I want to thank you Lord for being with me so far this day. With your help, I have not been inpatient, lost my temper been grumpy or envious of anyone. But I will be getting out of bed in a minute and I think I will really need your help then. Amen

Sorry, can't agree with that one. Poetzch is the most striking example of "should never have won" IMO, followed closely by Hughes. 4th in the sp for both were blatant examples of skaters being held up.
