Okay, now for the Olympic Champion SURVIVOR!
The rules are: vote for the weakest link. For the first three rounds, we'll eliminate the bottom two. After that, one at a time. Other than that, there are no rules.

Although Nepela wasto watch, at least he never engaged in human trafficking.
Schwarz, on the other hand....![]()
What a way to spend off-season with chitchats! Entertainment on the way![]()
Schwartz, IMO, should be kicked off alone. No one whose "weakness" is in their skating should be grouped with someone whose "weakness" (as shown by the trafficking) is a lack of humanity.
Lysacek with more votes than Schwarz or anyone else? Seriously?
BTW, are you folks old enough to remember back into the Twentieth Century?
A little article on Wolfgang Schwarz...

Do his activities (human traficking or otherwise) have anyting to do with how well he skated?
I think it's a combination of that and people not having seen his skating. If the human trafficking thing is literally the only thing people know about him, it's a no-brainer. Others have done objectionable things (DUI, which is definitely not as serious as human trafficking), but people have good memories of their skating at least. People are unlikely to even bother to look up his skating when he's done something so abhorrent.
I just watched schwarz's freeskate at the Olympics and it wasn't that great IMO.
that Lysacek has so many votes already.
Some things will never be objective on FSU.
I had never heard of Schwarz, what a dick...
Voted for Lysacek though because I've never been so bored watching skating.
Some links to skaters that some FSUers here may not have seen:

I could never bring myself to vote for Nepela
I'm pulling for John Curry to win the whole thing.
Schwarz is the weakest. Lysacek is second weakest. Tim Wood was robbed in 1972, way better skater. Danzer is a way better skater too.
I wish I'd voted for Schwarz, but I didn't know about the human trafficking thing until after I had voted.
I voted for Viktor Petrenko because the LP he won the Olympics with wasn't great. Others I considered: Kulik, Urmanov, Lysacek, Hamilton (I know Hamilton is a weird pick, but his Olympic LP in '84 was terrible too).
