What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
How many go through to the final?
Phew Tom's qualified. Still needs a LOT more tonight for the final. I cannot imagine how horrible this all must be for him. 4 years of hype - who can live up to that?
Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
Yikes I don't think Matty Mitcham is going to make the final. He looks as though he's about to cry

Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
Maybe he had too much Vegemite this morning?
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
Yep he's out. Wow![]()
Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
The Canadian Riley McCormick nailed his last dive for 9s to squeak into the finals. The calibre was so high in this event, much stronger than the women's. The final is going to be so exciting!!
Well done Tom!!
The Chinese are fab
The standard was unbelievable - All the qualified divers went clean on their 6 dives. There were barely any mistakes at all.

It broke my heart the look on his face.

So bummed.
(((((Matt)))))
Wowzers, Gelperin out, too?
Boudia certainly got his act together. Good for McCrory, too!
ETA: I guess I'm a bad American, but I'd rather Mitcham in the final over Boudia.![]()

There is still Tom Daley
"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
I guess I'm a bad Canadian then, too, because when the Canadian commentators were going crazy over McCormick getting in, I was thinking that I'd rather it be Mitcham. With the injury that Mitcham had, I'm guessing he wouldn't have been in contention for a medal anyway, but it would have been nice to see him in the final.
Wow, except for the Chinese, those semi standings are totally changed from prelims!
Mitcham doesn't make finals?![]()
When does it start?
"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
Just under 90 minutes from now.
