I've watched track and field for years and Carmelita Jeter has always been "thick" in my opinion. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt because her coach is the incredible John Smith has has revolutionist sprinting. He told her to pack on the muscle in the thigh area, which she did. Her upper body is pretty much the same size as she was in 07, maybe a little leaner but not that much in my opinion.
She has never tested positive for any banned substances or any performance enhancing drugs. Jeter was a late bloomer to tack and field and has "natural talent that took her to the 07 world championships. But when she switched the Smith in 09, it all changes. He made her a disciplined sprinter and Smith's techniques are the best the in biz.
Here are some other pics of C. Jeter.

Rumours were true. 1st casualty:
From BBC Live commentsA strange line coming out of the athletics stadium where hammer thrower Ivan Tsikhan, who won the silver medal in Athens, has been sent home after he tested positive on a retest of a sample from 2004.
Belarussian team spokemsan Oleg Grinko said: "We have received a letter from the international athletics federation that we should take out Ivan Tsikhan for doping from 2004 in Athens."
Not sure why it's taken eight years to get that sorted, but there you go.
Just watched Pharmelita's 100m Round 1 race. Wow. She's become 1/2 male.

Horrible desperate cow. Ostapchuk, the Shot put beast who has been robbing medals for a decade and actually won the gold in London has already been stripped. She normally came off her roids well in advance of the championships, but this time was so desperate for the win, she was popping right up to comp time.
The entire Belarussian throws team train together and hide away in the remote field in the back arse of Minsk. Well, you can all stay there and pop your pills in peace.
2 years time she'll be back and wiser to the testing..
Bans for life...:![]()
Hopefully they are retesting the Beijing samples as we speak.
It is sad to think we will just be hearing the results in Rio and beyond. Ugh.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
Best doping excuse ever?
Fatima Yvelain is a regional-level distance runner in France. I suspect you had not heard of her until now but she enters history with one of the best ever excuses for a positive doping test.
Following a positive test for EPO after a half-marathon, she claimed heavy rainfall on the day of race had caused water to stream over hidden medical waste somewhere near the course. As she ran, the EPO-laced rainwater splashed onto her shorts, thus contaminating her urine when she later provided a sample at the doping control.![]()

To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
LOL for Fatima Yvelain. How stupid does she think everyone is??? She could have at least tried the old 'my water bottle was contaminated' excuse.
My DH suspects the Russian lady (don't recall her name) who got the bronze in the marathon of doping.
The commentators said she ran her best race ever (by 2 full minutes) at the Olympics in London.
DH has run 10 marathons and says that running a PR by 2 minutes at that level of sport is next to impossible without doping.![]()
I'm not spoiled...I deserve all my stuff.
Your Deadly Hamster?
Ghfran Almouhamad from Syria who came 8th out of 9 in the first round of 400 metres hurdles became the first athlete who got done for doping during the actual games. Didn't help her much.![]()
