Wink Naked Ice Blog - Updated!

Usually whenever I update I'll just post a link in a relevant thread but I figured this is a more direct way to notify people of an update. I notice if I don't post the link people don't know the blog has been updated so, from now on, whenever I update I'll just bump this thread so people can check it out.

Somehow I've been able to access Blogger for the past two days. It's usually blocked so I decided to update while I can. It's just my thoughts concerning Yu-Na and Carolina's news plus some thoughts on a few of the new programs we've seen from the ladies. Not a lot but still worth a read...I think .

Feel free to comment or follow me! Once the JGP season kicks off I should be updating regularly again...that's my plan anyway. Life does tend to get in the way on occasion...

    Thanks for reading!

Great stuff, and thanks for posting the videos with the reviews.

I've updated! I got pretty bored so I decided to have some off-season fun. First up: Fashion Review!

    http://thenakedice.blogspot.com/2012...on-review.html

ETA: There's a poll on the right-hand side to vote for who you think was the winner...just had to add that.

Well personally when I first saw Akiko's blue dress, I thought "Yuna must be her lucky charm"

Well... she certainly love the dress. She even got it in lavender

Hey - just like Mao's colour

I wonder if she might go for Carolina's pant suit in yellow for her Kill Bill next season

In one of her post-Worlds blog entries, she talked about her blue dress because reporters were asking why blue. She planned on having a new dress for Worlds, a soft light blue one. She got fitted and the dress was made, but when she tried it out on the ice, the color just didn't work well with it. She was disappointed since she said it was such a gorgeous color, too. Time was running out, and she wasn't sure if they could get another dress in time for France. She and her coaches worked it out so the coaches heading to France later would bring the completed dress in time for the competition. At that point in time, she already had her new EX and dress made so because of time constraints, her team decided on a color that would pop on the ice and use her new EX as the base for the FS dress.

I love the royal blue dress and how well it worked with the program, but I'm curious about the design of that light blue dress!

Final JGP ladies review of the season:

    http://thenakedice.blogspot.com/2012...jgp-final.html

I had fun covering the JGP. It's always cool to see the up-and-coming skaters and watch them grow. But I'm ready to watch the big girls play! I plan to cover the senior GP events too...hopefully I'll be able to keep up.

    Thanks for reading!
