I recall lengthy discussions of this. What was our verdict?

Love the thread but was worried that it took so long to bring up Leonova's 2011-12 SP footwork. Really. That's the winner right there.

Oh God, YES! The Skate Canada version was the ultimate version of "Hooker on Crack" for me! Complete with that hilarious trip against the boards and the crotch shot at the end of the program...PURE AWESOME.

I also love this one...the most choreographically effective use of a sit spin to end a program, courtesy of Valentina Marchei:

LMAO, of course not!! You can see in her face she's thinking "OMG they bought it!!" and then Michelle thinking "You don't fool me, bitch"

Lysacek was squatting a lot too.

The generalized spazzing out that Liz Punsalan attempted to pass off as dancing from about 3:59 to 4:10 of their 95 FD always makes me

Definitely not choreographed, but the violin glissando fits so well...

    as for "well choreographed falls":
    Martiusheva & Rogonov sbs fall

This was the first time I saw this pair and I immediately fell for them. the program itself was beautiful and I find that fall somehow cute.

and my favorite one, Valentina Marchei - the best ending ever. this one definitely deserves a + GOE!

This thread is a crack up.

Okay the orgasm moment from Buttle's Samson and Delilah.

And A&P doing Beethoven (or Beethowen according to the name of the clip). I don't care if she is lifting him, this lift sucks.

And keep watching because then he gets her in the back with his blade.

One decade later and I'm more convinced than ever that Anissina/Peizerat were robbed in 2001.

Yes, but his squat had "walk like an Egyptian arms" so it doesn't count

I think spinning through a dramatic music change is a big mistake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...OcfH_S8#t=231s

    For me is this one:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu0uN-drwgc

I don't mind the choreograhy but the "Gone missing in the jungle" interpretation(aside from the intriguing costumes) wasn't the brightest idea IMHO.

Josee's choreo was always so awkward until 1993-94 season.
She changed her short program ending to this for the 92-93 worlds which was just dumb

...and then there was how showing off your Brazilian could win you a bronze but also spark a rule change:
