It didn't look like she'd get credit for the combo from here. But wow does she have speed!

She probably didn't get credit for the combo since she had the stumble out of the first 3T plus a couple of steps in between... Really good otherwise, though.

ETA: I didn't see that danafan had already said the same thing about the combo!

Detailed results are up for the women already! COS is awesome. Yep, Daleman got no credit for the combo: 3T+C with -3 GOE... Level 4 on all her spins, though.

ETA: Of course, she did get some credit for the first 3T, just not for the second one...

I must say anyone who skates to Missing shouldn't be allowed to wear a white shirt and black slacks.

I liked Nakamura a lot, despite the spin issues. Lots of potential there and nice to see him and his coach laughing about it afterwards rather than beating himself up too much about it Cool music, too.

General thoughts on Senior ladies from today:

Daleman's combos looked slightly cheated, but they were great attempts. Her speed across the ice looks good and I thought she should've been in first. That costume though

Desanctis looked a bit sluggish to me. The salchow combo was great but the lutz looked a tiny bit underrotated, that's why she flipped out of it the way she did. It was on the cusp though, I could see her getting full credit for it but it's not conducive to a strong landing.

Eri Nishimura is darling. She's cute and perky but needs more height on her jumps.

Alexe Gilles demonstrated good maturity and flow on the ice.

Michelle Long and Yuki Nishino both had fab warm ups but unfortunately failed to deliver in the program. Nishino has such a gentle quality to her skating, she's lovely.

No one else really stood out to me. Disappointed Alexandra Najarro didn't skate, I wanted to see her!

It was the male ice dance coach from Scarboro - Juris Razgulajevs.

Thank you so much for the report.

I'm impressed by Daleman's SP. Actually I love her costume too

I love Daleman's costume as well. I say - stand out - make a splash and get noticed as soon as you hit the ice. She looks to have the personality and skills to manage that attention.

    SR LADIES FS

Daleman- Song of the Black Swan (good taste, girl!)- 3z (to), 3t (to), 3f-2t, 3s (fall), layback to Biellman ok, 3f (fall), 3s (fallout), 2ax, spin ok, prancy step choreo, nice MITF section towards the end, spin ok. Spins could be improved but there's a lot of tech content in there potentially and a nice program. FS 80 something- 126 overall.

I wanted to start recapping with the 2nd group earlier but had to drive the roommate to get her car fixed. Super crappy timing.

Adriana DeSanctis- 3z (x), 2f, seems faster/more powerful than Daleman but less enchanting to me, 3s (I think), layback sorta ok, 1z, 2ax, 3s? (so), spins and footwork kind of lackluster in comparison to others, 1ax. Libertango is the music. I'd have that behind Daleman. FS 71.74, Total 120.32. 2nd place at the moment.

Yuki Nishino- Butterfly Lovers i think- 2f?, 1f, 3r (x), nice speed, 3t-2t-2t, 1z, 3s-2t, very nice bent leg camel, other spins not as nice, 1ax. High spiral but not held very long, this choreo is really not very sharp or interesting to me, bad leg on layback. Yikes, this is not top level skating, I wonder if she's been injured or something... FS 75, TOTAL 119.61. Currently 4th.

Alexe Gilles (announcer said her name as if it was Alex)- Nutcracker- 2ax into 2s or 3s?, 3f (x), 3t-2r good, 1r, 1s, layback much nicer than any others I've seen in this group really pretty, footwork section a bit muddy, 3t (bad fallout), 2ax (x), nice arms, combo spin fellout a bit- looks like she's just getting back into competition after a vacation or something- maybe a few months down the road this will be something, but right now not yet. Gotta start somewhere, there's definitely some nice qualities here and there though. FS 71.46, TOTAL 116.29, 6th place.

Daleman wins. Desanctis 2nd, Nishimoto 3rd. Glad to see Daleman has a JGP. The rest don't look ready for an international at this point.

    Top 7 unofficial:
G Daleman 80.14 (FS) 126.15 (Total) - assigned to JGP #3 in Austria
    A DeSanctis 71.74 120.32
    E Nishimura 73.87 119.83
    Y Nishino JPN 75.30 119.61
    C Yan 79.67 116.94
    A Gilles 71.46 116.29
    G Mutlu 71.34 112.19

ETA: I liked Gilles' "Pas de Deux"/Nutcracker FS (choreographed by Carol Lane, I believe?) and thought she kept up her performance level despite the later jump problems - nice to see her smiling throughout.

SP: Avatar (soundtrack) by James Horner
FS: Piano Trio Opus 90 "Dumky" by A. Dvorak

If there is, I don't know where. This is only recorded video I've seen show up (Junior Men FS) - someone posted this link in the Australian skating thread: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/24796793

They are ahead of schedule (due to withdrawals, I assume). They announced novice pairs as starting at 10:45, so I would assume that everything else will be a bit early as well.

No, likely because the official video company for the competition is also one of the sponsors.

Here are a couple of SD links I came across on GoldenSkate:
