    Fun program by Ralph/Hill - in 2nd with 57.67.

Looks like Gilles/Poirier WD well before this event because they weren't announced as WD.

Thanks for clarifying regarding Collin. The two brothers certainly have different builds. If Rockne had Collin's height, he'd have absolutely no problem finding a pairs partner.

Did the announcer just say "The final competitors?" My ears aren't always trustworthy.

ETA: I guess the earlier posts are clear.

This music sounds like an old cartoon soundtrack.

Gone With The Wind, though I'm not positive if all the cuts were from the movie. Good luck to them this season, it won't be easy to make Euros/Worlds against Alessandrina/Vaturi (sp).

So Paul and Islam take it over Ralph and Hill - are both teams doing the free dance too?

Overall, I'm so glad not to have Latin anymore! (I feel bad given my heritage, but still.)

The reason half the people here watched this, and . . . they don't show up!

Maybe he decided to get back together with Vanessa Crone LOL.

Wow, I loved Ralph/Hill and loved her dress. I just don't feel nervous when they skate - I guess they come across as very confident and sure to me and I really love their energy.

    Oh I really enjoyed those!

I loved Ralph and Hill's program-if not their costumes and I don't always like those cutesy /can can ones- but they were really committed but not too over the top. I also really enjoyed Paul and Islam and the team that came 2nd in junior- Desveaux and Raz...

I do wish Ralph and Hill would get a different costumer. He is so handsome but his shirt was so hideous!

Senior ladies short is starting a bit early, at 7:05 they announced. Adriana Desanctis is up first and Alexe Gilles is in this group too and I'm sure that's her I see by the boards in a yellow dress.

Daleman looks amazing on warmup. Triple toe triple toe and triple flip. She looks more than ready for the JGP.

So nobody's watching the 24 Canadian senior ladies? (Well, okay, a few of them aren't Canadian, which helps...)

I just tuned in during Nishimura, who looked pretty good and had a kind of awesome tango version of the Pink Panther Theme. Orser was with her. I think she landed her 3-2 combo and 2A but fell on her solo triple but I wasn't paying attention enough to notice what the jumps were.

Last group starting now. Zhalko-Tytarenko has withdrawn.

Najarro didn't skate. I wonder if she'll get any chance at an assignment now...

And she should lead by a mile after this short. triple toe-triple toe should get a negative -goe, but this is a great showing!

etA: no, second! Something was downgraded?

I am. Short programs are much easier to sit through anyway.

Must. not. uber. Gabrielle Galeman. Awesome even with the combo turnout!

Gilles and Yuki Nishino had beautiful programs though some may say zzz.
