Yes, Ilia and Katia both do shows. Last year they did quite a few.
And yes again, Ilia also has Kulik's Skating in Lake Forest, CA. Ilia has not yet made the transition to coaching only and that will happen over a period of time. Right now this combination - shows and coaching - is working. This has been his plan for some time and he is in the middle of it. For the higher level skaters whom he coaches like Michael Christian Martinez and Amanda Gelb, he is not the sole coach so can break away now and again to do a show. Unfortunately for us folks who love to watch him do what he still does so beautifully, eventually there will be no more shows. But I know he will be a superb coach.

On Aug. 23, an open practice was held in Yokohama for a skating exhibition produced by 2006 Olympic gold medalist Shizuka Arakawa where many of Japan's Sochi hopefuls unveiled their new programs for the new season.
Men's 2010 world champion Daisuke Takahashi performed his new short program decked out in an outfit and hairstyle that channeled Elvis Presley. He skated to a rock 'n' roll number, which was a hit with the audience.
“This program is rigid with jumps in the latter half to score higher points," Takahashi says. "I hope to pay attention to the audience reaction and polish the program.”

On the other side of the ice, 2012 world championships bronze medalist Akiko Suzuki showed off a short program vastly different from last season's classical music theme. The 27-year-old Aichi Prefecture native skated to music from the two-part Quentin Tarentino thriller “Kill Bill,” clad entirely in black.
“I want to perform this program as a wild woman,” Suzuki says.
"Randy [Starkman (1960-April 16, 2012)] lived by the same motto as the rest of us. The Olympics isn’t every four years, it’s every single day. He just got it." --Canadian Olympic kayaker Adam van Koeverden
