Shan, if I remember correctly, it was a blues/hip hop. Definitely kind of a retro 80's club scene, but brought into 2012. It was pretty awesome on the ice.

Juniors can do Blues or Blues with Swing or HipHop

    Fierce!

Decent start for C&B. I'm looking forward to seeing them, although her costume is ridiculous too.

I sort of recognized the music and it kind of seemed Cirque du Soliel to me. In the opening sequence, she mimes walking a tight rope and falling into his arms. Costume actually looked strange, but it worked. Don't know if the judges will feel the frills hide too much of her neck/face.

    Thanks for the photos link.

anyone know anything about McNamara and Carpenter? Who trains them? What did they skate to?

Loved their look - different and original - standing out in a good way. Hope someone has some video of their performance. [Please - P-l-e-a-s-e]

    So do I.

However, some of their programs can be seen on IN's archived coverage of US Nationals.

LOL! Wow are they young! I enjoyed that. It's good to know they've been skating together for so long. I'd love to see this year's dance.
