It seems play has been stopped by rain. At least they're putting the roof in place on centre court.

Youzhny 2 sets up and Fed won the first in his match on a tie break.

Schiavone not happy she had to play on - especially as half the courts are currently suspended!! It's tough on days like today when it actually isn't raining but drizzling!!

Frankie slipped badly in the 2nd set, was up a break. Rain delay, came back lost the set. Really upset and reluctant to start the 3rd. Huge swing in momentum in 20 minutes, now she's down 1-5 to Petra in the 3rd.

    AHHH Frankie

Petra vs Serena, could go either way. She's a better mover than Petra and she has struggled against player who move well.

She needs to play smarter and play to Petra's backhand and move the ball around.

They suspended play, but didn't put the roof on?

Aggie Radwanska beating down Gorgi. Looks like all Italian women going down in the 4th round.

Vinci lost to Paszek, Frankie goes down to Petra and Gorgi is being dominated by Aggie R.

Aggie R is the sleeper so far, she is playing outstanding tennis. #3 seed isn't talked about much so far and there has been little talk about Vika too. I hope Vika can win again Ana I.

She won with a 2nd serve ace!

I just jumped out my skin and was screaming for about 30 seconds

Don't know if I've ever mentioned that a very close friend of mine was a small part of Lisicki's coaching team when she was a kid. He said she was lovely. Hence I always feel a little soft spot for her.

    Yes, Lisicki beat Maria.

Sabine held her nerves in check and Maria's serve was not on today.

Kim down a set to Kerber. Kerber won first set 6-1.

Aggie serving for the match; won 1st set 6-2 and 5-2 in the 2nd.

The 20 year old GiorgiI(Italian) has a bright future. Pretty girl too

ESPN just announced, if Vika wins today, she will regain her #1 ranking. I don't know if that is right. I thought Vika had to get to finals in order to get the #1 back. She's about 600 pts behind Maria.

Where did Maria go out of Wimbledon last year? If it was the semi's then she has not defended her points.

I agree. Aggie is having a phenomenal year. Playing outstanding tennis and the most variety and best movement of the 10 top players right now.

Switching coaching has paid off for her.
