Agreed, I think if it weren't for the rain delay, Petrova would have won. Sharapova really has no critical thinking skills on the court. She doesn't know how to adjust her game during a match. I think she does well in non-majors because of on-court-coaching, and with a rain delay she can get advice.

Any news on AndyRoo's match? I had to flip it over to MasterChef and then what passes for our pathetic Paralympic Coverage here in Canada started at 10pm. When I turned it back to TSN, they were doing SportsCentre and talking about the mess that was the Blue Jays game tonight, so I have no idea if it's going to be carried over to tomorrow or not, but I'm guessing it is.
BTW, having a roof on a stadium isn't always what it's cracked up to be. I'm guessing the same system hit Toronto tonight and for the first time ever, they couldn't get roof at the Dome to work and close. Then to add even more to that chaos, the Fire Alarm started going off.
Talk about the exclamation point to one rotten injury filled season. As my cousin said, they should be called the Toronto Black and Blue Jays due to how many were/are on the DL.

Not enjoying both Maria and Marion meant I could actually enjoy the match, as I didn't give a single **** who actually won - I just appreciated the tennis. Perhaps this is the way forward for me in all sports?
Maybe I've been getting too emotionally involved to enjoy it? Hmmm...
