I wouldn't be so sure that all of CC will be "against" Federer. He's playing Murray - not Henman

Agreed - but there will be a larger part than normal cheering for his opponent!! Though being Fed you will have no idea how he feels about that until after the match!!

Had he been playing ANYONE else in the final, I agree, it'd be overwhelmingly pro-Murray (obviously) but Roger is as beloved here as is just about possible, so I think there will be lots of support for him too.

In fact a few friends of mine have said they'll be supporting Fed on Sunday.

I unashamedly will be cheering for Fed - I have been a fan for years

And true to form - the pressure starts - Murray's win in the semi is the lead headline on the main news!! It will only get worse from here

You could get by with calling him a Brit, but Andy ain't no Englishman.

The pressure on Federer is as nothing, compared to what Murray will be facing.
He carries the hopes and expectations of the entire British Isles onto Center Court.
The country has been waiting since Fred Perry won for this opportunity; and it's something that may not happen again for many years, if at all.

I hope, win or lose, that he plays the best match possible; so that he will be proud of himself, whatever the outcome.

I agree. I think the pressure on Federer would be greater if he were playing Nadal in the final, but considering this would be Andy's first GS win, he has immense pressure. Anyway, I think it will be a very good final overall. Can't wait for Sunday! (I'm hoping Saturday is also great, although I think Serena will be too strong)

I'm shocked that the ladies final isn't on network tv in the US.

    Correct.

Murray once had a commanding lead over Roger in their h2h...6-2 in their first 8 meetings. But Roger has won 5 of their last 7 meetings. Funny that Wimbledon will be their first non-hard surface meeting!

Eugenie Bouchard wins the girls singles title!

Makes up for the embarrassingly bad performance of Milos Raonic and Daniel Nestor earlier in the tournament.

Yikes, poor Aggie, Serena is just lights out today. Just redonculous how strong she is.

My goodness, there's a British dude in the Men's Doubles Final, too!

Looks like both Men's Doubles Semis were battles. ( & )

ETA: And into the 3rd set we go - Serena seems to have tensed up

What a horrible line call on Serena's serve. I'm amazed Serena didn't take out the linesperson. How embarrassing for the linesperson though....
