Serena's play is spotty. I have no idea why she is not going to the net more. She's so stubborn.
I can't see Serena beating Kvitova with this form.
Roddick/Ferrer 1 set a piece. This could go on for another couple of hours - and then we still have to see Murray/Baghdatis. I would assume the roof would come on at some point in that match - if not before depending on what time it was due to start. Glad they re-opened the roof today - they had it closed this morning due to showers. After the bad decision to keep it closed yesterday even though they had no rain during any of the matches on center they obviously decided to keep their fingers crossed for no passing showers today![]()

Well, it was about time for Roddick's required temper tantrum of the match.
Roddick challenging his own serve because Ferrer hit a winner off of it. The serve was in, of course.
Stay classy, Andy.
Ferrer beats Roddick in 4 - I was a little surprised at that as Andy is a more natural grass court player but Ferrer does keep fighting and an excellent win for him. Of course he has now got Del-Potro - that could be an interesting match.
Now we get Murray - what is going to happen with that roof!!
Querrey has taken the match with Cilic to the 5th winning 2 tie-breaks.
Yikes just saw this on the BBC web-page
Apparently it is known as a golden set1508:
GAME, SET AND MATCH- Shvedova beats 10th seed Errani
Tenth seed Sara Errani is out, beaten 6-0 6-4 by Kazakhstan's Yaroslava Shvedova. Remarkable stat in that one: Shvedova made history by becoming the first player to win a set at Wimbledon without conceding a point. She held serve three times and broke Errani each time to take 24 consecutive points in the opener.
But what happened to Errani - she had been playing so well![]()
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
Wow, a golden set! I think Serena was one point away from doing that a year or so ago.

Shvedova was one point from having a golden set at Amelia Island years ago, but she ended uploading the match 16 60 60.
Querrey-Cilic going deep in the 5th - 9-9. I hope it get's done tonight otherwise they'll have to wait until Monday to finish!!
OMG! There's a woman knitting while watching the Murray-Baghdatis match. Is she Canadian?![]()

Finally - Cilic wins in the 5th - 17-15!!!!
Murray- Baghdatis 1 set a piece - Baghdatis playing really well. And now they close the roof!!
Cilic
Baghdatis levels with the 2nd set 6-3
