Yes, I also posted the news in Vanessa Crone's thread in Great Skate Debate: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...06#post3604606

Was Ian Martinez injured last season? He's on the list for Senior Men.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I'm a little surprised to find Sorensen in this list. He certainly moved forward fast! Such a pity that Vanessa doesn't have a partner yet. sniff sniff

In what concerns Ian Martinez, I don't think I have heard of him since the Finlandia Trophy back in 2009. So I don't have a clue about what happened to him since then.

Martinez skated at Canadian Nationals in 2010 and 2011.

I really liked Beaudry at 2011 Canadian Nationals with her old partner. I hope she and Sorensen do well together.

Amelie Lacoste is scheduled to skate the LP, but not the SP. She's probably keeping last season's SP and testing out a new LP

I recall someone asking why Martinez withdrew from Québec Sectionals last November.

The latest entry list is dated June 26 and lists all the skaters alphabetically by last name: http://www.patinage.qc.ca/userfiles/...rticipants.pdf

Roster as of July 18th: http://www.patinage.qc.ca/userfiles/...pes%282%29.pdf.

One skater who has usually been at this competition in the past and is notable by his absence is Eladj Baldé (4th at Canadians in senior). I hope he's not injured again. IIRC, he had switched to training in Detroit, so one possibility is that he has entered Skate Detroit instead of this competition. Has anyone heard any news about him?

He was in photos on the ice at DSC on my Facebook newsfeed yesterday, not sure if we can assume from that he's fine and dandy, but he was definitely recently on the ice!

Bumping this up since the competition starts tomorrow.

It looks like Xkatebuzz might be streaming this competition. Here's the link to the Skatebuzz Usteam site, and they are showing the Quebec Summer Championships as one of the options on the menu (upper right-hand side).

Quebecoise posted the schedule link in post #8 above, and the roster links are also shown above.

So Excited! I'm gonna head there Friday after work and Saturday. To all the junior followers, are any of the junior men worth going there on Sunday for? I have a long Sunday ahead of me and would like not to do much in the morning/afternoon unless I'll be missing something special

    So Excited!!

There is on Rink 4. Unfortunately, Rink 4 is the only one with sound as of now.

Just assume they are skating to "Carmen", "Aranjuez", or selections from "Glee". That will cover 80% of the programs.

You're a rock star Sylvia! Thanks for getting links up so quickly. I was watching live feed but my dog decided to sit on the power button of my laptop so I missed Purich with her new partner. How amazing it is to have the skates archived so quickly!

Does any one know what "Senior Dames Sans Point" actually means because Senor Ladies without Points makes no sense.
I want to thank you Lord for being with me so far this day. With your help, I have not been inpatient, lost my temper been grumpy or envious of anyone. But I will be getting out of bed in a minute and I think I will really need your help then. Amen

I think it's a senior ladies program that doesn't get judged, only 1 lady is doing this
