When you are up to your arse in alligators it is difficult to remember you were only meant to be draining the swamp.
sorry for delay but...here it is ... crazy figure skating costumes poll for October! enjoy!
feel free to comment or suggest some other crazy costumes for next month
Thank you so much for this! Absolutely love it!
I must say I cannot believe I could possibly vote for something else than S/S' short program costume, because how could any costume get any worse than a scribbly/skitties-vomit costume, right?
Thanks to you, I now know it can indeed get even worse
Just for that, I think you deserve a medal
PS: what about this one http://thesocietypages.org/socimages...48-600x400.jpg
I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas time and preparing yourself for the New Year . In the meantime you can check crazy skating costume poll for this month!
So, what do you think?
Thanks for voting!
I have to say, every time I watched these types of costumes such as Zenkova/ Sinitsin, I thought they weren't great until I remembered how much I loved the musical 'Cats' and how fitting and normal these costumes were in that musical. Then they didn't look that bizar on the ice to me. Either something is wrong with me or I learnt the way of thinking of the designers of these outfits.
no gorshkova/butikov on the poll? scandal!
Thanks a lot guys for the suggestions , I will definitely using those in the future polls
I am back with the new "Crazy Figure Skating Costumes" poll for January!
Enjoy voting and feel free to post any suggestions for the next months!
Thanks a lot for the previous suggestions! Some of them has been used this month!
So, what do you think? Who is the worst?
My favorites are Elena Grushina's pasties at the 2006 Olympics
and Irina Lobacheva's overly exposed everything in 1998
Skaters are prohibited by the rules from giving the impression of excessive nudity. I've noticed half the skaters in Europe don't follow this guideline, so their judges may not either. For it to be considered excessive in Europe, does it have to show the full monty? And who makes the determination of costume vulgarity violations?

Part of the rule is that if a costume is cut low in the front, it cannot be cut low in the back as well, whether or not the area is covered by illusion fabric. I'm wondering about Samantha Cesario's "Swan Lake" FS costume, which she designed. It's cut low in front and back.
If she wears this costume at JW, will she get a costume violation?
