Reminds me of when Frau muller used to maul Kat Witt in the k&c![]()
Morozov watching this video would be like "so what?"
Reminds me of an old SNL skit with Alec Baldwin, in which whenever romantic theme music started to play, he began kissing everyone: the maid, himself, a stray dog ...![]()
^^ Good actor/ comedians.
This coach certainly seems more overwrought than the skater. They both fell to the floor too, but it's not seen in this clip.

What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
Thanks EoS. Anymore? Need a good laugh during this boring season.
priceless.
Wow. I'd never seen that clip before...Irina looked PISSED!!![]()
^^There are a couple of instances where Robin grabs Sarah's face and looks like she is preparing to haul off and kiss her on the lips. Both were definitely overexcited and out of their minds with glee.
Sarah's win no matter how well she skated with her under-rotations and the pressure off going into the fp in 4th place, was helped by the pairs judging scandal. All eyes were focused on the judging of the subsequent fs events, and all the judges were overly afraid of being singled out for some minute infraction in their judgement. They were probably quaking in their shoes and feeling that anyone who makes an obvious mistake must be marked down -- forget about judging the overall skating. BTW, S/P are not to blame, none of the skaters are. It is figure skating itself/ TPTB who didn't have the sense to clean up their act many moons before the SLC scandal broke.
Yeah, Irina surely didn't expect Sarah to get the win over her. But deep inside Irina had to know that she let the nerves get to her just like Michelle did.Originally Posted by kwanatic
It's crazy how Michelle and Irina's Olympic accomplishments were pretty much the same. Irina had a case for gold in SLC but lost to Sarah; Michelle had a (much stronger) case for gold in Nagano but lost to Tara.
In SLC, Michelle had a fall that took her out of gold medal contention; in Torino Irina had a fall that took her out of contention.
Both ladies settled for one silver and one bronze...no gold.
