Sounds like an excuse for poor planning on their part. I'm sure it happens most every Olys but since this is the current one I'll snark on it. Surely public transport will run extra hours? Or maybe not.

The stupid thing the public transport is still running through the night, and surely starting a 3- 3 1/2 hour show at 9pm was always going to run into this sort of problem. We live quite a way outside London and will be able to use pubic transport no problem even if it does mean getting home at 4am

Apart form feeling disappointment for my friends and their fellow cyclists I am feeling very positive about it all. We have been told we need to be in our seats by 7.30 for a pre show and I am really excited to see what the evening will bring, we have 6 tickets and will have 3 generations of family there so will be a great experience.
