I've been asked to find some options for summer skating camps for a novice level skater in Europe for this summer. It's probably a bit late to book, but does anyone have any ideas?

To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
I don't know much about skating camps in Europe, but this one in Switzerland should be quite good: http://www.skate-academy.com/
It looks like there is also one in Dundee where Michael Huth will be coaching: http://www.iceskating.org.uk/node/5319
Mishin offers three options in Spain, Estonia, or Italy: http://fskating.com/2012/02/alexei-m...ng-school.html
Looks like Juri Bureiko will also be teaching at a camp in Latvia: http://www.iceskating.org.uk/archive...2%5B6%5D_0.pdf
There is one in Madrid run by Joanne Conway in August which I've heard is quite good but it may well be sold out by now. There is also one in Solihull in August run by my old coach with Jenna McCorkell and Kevin van der Perren. I think they also have several in Belgium throughout the summer.

A lot of the kids I skated with and some of my students attended summer camps with Frank Carroll at Lake Arrowhead, they all loved it: http://www.icecastle.us/brochure-2012.pdf Rafael Artunian and Anthony Liu also coach there.
I've heard good things about the camps at Toyota Sports Center, one of the girls from my rink at home has gone for several summers now. Fantastic lineup of coaches this summer - Audrey Weisinger, Yuka Sato, Paul Wylie, Jason Dungjen, etc. http://www.toyotasportscenter.com/page/show/32461-camps
I skated in Sun Valley during the summer a few times when I was younger and it was fantastic - they always have excellent coaches and wonderful summer shows as well. http://www.sunvalley.com/instruction...s/skateschool/
I haven't heard much about the camp at the International Skating Club of Connecticut, but they always seem to have a great lineup of coaches as well. http://www.isccskate.com/figureskating.php
Viktor Kudriavtsev and his wife, both highly respected Russian coaches, run a wonderful camp in Flims, Switzerland. It is apparently the most beautiful little town and there are classes at all levels. I know about it because Ilia tries to go every year to teach there - he loves it.

It always bugs me a little how they never tell you the prices of these things. I mean, I could probably never afford/don't fit into the scope of any of these camps...but I can't be the only curious one, right?

Excellent training conditions and fantastic ice <3
