Nours that is definitely the 1949 Worlds in Paris. British Pathe have a lot of the same footage although they have it mislabelled as the Europeans from that year. Great footage and so cool to see such a lot of Dick Button's skating.

Thank you for posting this! So sweet to see that even elite skaters once had to start with simple crossovers and waltz jumps. But you can defintly see already kind of special determination in this performance!

She only competed internationally for two seasons (fall 1992 through winter 1994). It's pretty normal for skaters to keep the same program for two seasons.

We don't know what she was doing at lower levels during the Soviet period. She was not sent to junior internationals.

Well, it's not Oksana's fault if the was only given the one LP for Senior competition. Perhaps it was a problem of finances? Although, I vaguely recall her coach saying something along the lines of if a program is working why change it for the Olympics? I suppose she thought they had a winner=and in the end it was.
