A youtube user, gymerin, posted a very rare video of Sasha Cohen.
It's the FS from the 1998 US Novice Figure Skating Championships where she finished 6th overall.

Love it! I didn't realize Klimova was only 17 when she won the Olympic Bronze Medal in Sarajevo.

I also enjoy listening to commentators talk about these legendary skaters when they first started their career. Thanks again for finding so many treasures.

Clip from the Ice Carnival 1950, includes some brief examples of pairs skating, ladies, men, show routines and... a skating bear.

One of the best show skaters of that era:
Show routine Eva Pawlike & Rudi Seeliger and Eva-a child prodigy in figure skating.

Wow even then their skating skills were just beautiful. Thanks for posting.
When you are up to your arse in alligators it is difficult to remember you were only meant to be draining the swamp.

They had beautiful skills indeed and as lulu mentioned Marina was only 17 years old when they've started climbing the Olimpic stairs in 1984.
Here is another 17 years old ice dancer Klara Engi with 19 years old Atilla Toth @ 1984 OG

Thank you for the clarification and i am glad that you liked the video.I love figure skating and don't mind sharing something good, old, special and precious like the following adorable video of young Kitty and Peter Carruters starting from age of 10 months old.

P.S. Kitty was very good ballerina for 2 years old .

Some place competitive and athletic, but ultimately more like an audition than anything else.

WTF Did anybody notice that the female skater featured in this video, Miwa Fukuhara, performed a 3Lz every bit as good as any I have ever seen. This was in freakin' 1964.
