The other portion that has not been used is the snow scene. The only program I have seen to the snow scene was from Meno/Sand in a Christmas special. It used to be limited because of the chorus, but, since the choral part has no words, it could easily be used now. Both parts would make wonderful pairs programs.

I believe Evora/Ladwig and Tanovich/Chau skated to Nutcracker within the past 5 years. I remember loving Chau's performance because he does a lot of ballet.

You're right -- Tracy Tanovich/Michael Chau skated to "The Snow Queen Suite" from The Nutcracker in the 2007-08 season when they won the U.S. junior silver medal. I'm blanking on Evora/Ladwig, though -- maybe HeatherC knows?

Missed the Tanovich/Chau program. I bet it was a good one.

I'm not HeatherC, but didn't Amanda & Mark skate to the "Pas de Deux?"

Re: other performances of "The Nutcracker," I remember "Nutcracker on Ice" in the mid 1990's (the one with Peggy, Nicole, Todd, & Brian O.). I loved watching Brian O. play the part of Drosselmaier.

Ilia's "Waltz of the Flowers" was terrific!

Funny you should mention "Nutcracker on Ice", I've literally just got home from seeing the Imperial Ice Stars version tonight!

At one point: "Hey, he looks really super familiar!" *dives into program* OMG IT'S EVGENY PLATOV!

I watched Petrova/Tikhonov's SP from the Olympics & Europeans in 02' last night. I think that was The Nutcracker.
It was my favourite SP that they skated to. I think it was under marked.
