    I voted other.

Rosalynn Sumners nailed it at the 1987 World Professional Championships in Landover. She finished a close second to Dorothy Hamill.

I only have a clip of her winning the Challenge of Champions in Paris, with a step out on the double lutz.

However, since this program is four minutes long, boost the doubles to triples and it would make a great ladies free even now.

I'm not fond of them, but Oksana Baiul's, Sasha Cohen's and Rudy Galindo's are the best of the list, for me.
I love Yuzuru Hanyu's SP from last season, but it's not the original Swan Lake.

One of my votes went to others with reference to Alexej Urmanov's Swan Lake:

Wow! The whole thing is beautiful, but that one move they do early on is just incredible. I loved it.

Who is she? When is this from? She looks like Petrova, but with longer limbs so everything looks more striking. Alexei looks young here, so this is isn't one of the those recent celebrity shows, right?

And the Butyrskaya hate goes on...........................
She was one of the few to use the arm movements to show the Swan.
But her free skate at the 2000 Europeans was far better than the Worlds that year.

Where do you see the hate ?
Don't you think Oksana Baiul used her arms ?

ITA with the above...where's the hate? I haven't seen one negative post about Maria in this thread. I voted for her and I'm not even a fan. Her LP was elegant and her costume was one of my favorites.

I just think she gets dumped in every poll. Never gets the credit that she should.
I said she uses her arms better than most. Baiul was beautiful with this music.
    Also Elena & Anton.
Choreography wise she was way better than Slutskaya's Carmen in the same season yet Irina got similar artistic marks.

One of the best audience reactions I've ever been a part of - Tracy Tanovich/Michael Chau's gold medal-winning Junior Pairs FS at 2009 US Nationals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov8yTHmriCg

I don't see any Butyrskaya hate either. Just because people don't vote for her as their FAVORITE doesn't mean they hate her. I am a big fan of Maria, but her Swan Lake wasn't my favorite.

Inna Volonskaya competed in pair with Valerii Spiridonov during late 70's and won Bronze medal at Russian Nationals in 1979/1980.

She skated with Alexey Tikhonov for few years around 1995 in Tarasova's "All Stars" in spectacle "The Prince and Cinderela".

You see the real hate in the Survivor threads.

In general, Maria is not a popular skater on this board, but she did survive a couple of rounds over Kimmie and Miki.

I liked Maria's skating, and I found her underrated, but her Swan Lake LP was not one of my favorites. It was just OK for me.

Their "Swan Lake" program is wonderful.

Wow, so many of these skaters gave me chills with their Swan Lakes. If I had to choose one, it would be Oksana. I am a major fan of Maria Butyrskaya's because she choreographed this one on her own and I could see me doing a very similar interpretation.

One that isn't listed but which I could watch again are the Stieglets in 1995 at the Olympic Festival. Tiffany was a diamond.
