Does Daisuke Takahashi's Cyber Swan (aka Hip hop Swan Lake) count?

ETA: Oops, didn't see the poll.

Other for Ashley Wagner's Black Swan, which was more or less Swan Lake.

I decided to include it, to increase the number of options.

Yes, it could have been included. I did not think of it.

Shizzle's voidy swan is tops in my book.
    Dai's cyber swan is
And BRAVO to Ashley Wagner for skating Philip Mills' Black Swan choreo to perfection.

Oksana skated a pro routine to the traditional Swan Lake music (not the Black swan), but I liked her 94 SP much better.

Sasha Cohen of course, the greatest Swan ever in figure skating, but definitely not 2004 Worlds. She had a lot better performances that season, the last one at Marshall's being the best. However, my favourite is the first performance of the season, at 2003 Campbell's where she had TAT's choreography, much better in my opinion than what she had with Robin. 2003 SA was also a wonderful performance.

B&S's easily. I always wished Moskvina would have turned that into a LP for them.

Oksana and Rudy are definitely my top 2.

For my 3rd, I chose 'other' ... although not an elite international competitor, I have always loved Kathryn Kang's Swan Lake program from the '09 Canadian Nationals where she placed in the top 5 and made the National team. Here's a link to that performance:

    1. Sasha's Swan Lake is my favorite by far, although I preferred Tatiana's version over 2004 Worlds. (I'm not a big fan of Robin Wagner).
    2. B&S - Just about anything Tamara Moskvina touches is golden in my opinion.
    3. - Rudy 1996 San Jose was a once in a lifetime performance.

As "Ballet on Ice" this can hardly be improved upon.

For the thrill of performance in competition - Rudy in 1996.

I loved that SP. I remember at the Europeans, which I saw on my poor quality video, the commentators were raving about this young pair. Although they had skated together for just about 18 months, they had breath taking unison, speed, lines, posture- everything that pairs skating should be.

Oh, shoot I voted for Oksana and then I realized there's an option for Rudy!

Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze without a doubt. That was a breathtaking performance. I watch it from time to time and it still mesmerizes me.

I liked Fumie Suguri's LP that had TWO footwork sequences, probably not the best ever though. I also thought Mai Asada did a surprisingly good job with it at a cheesefest in the fall of 2006.

ETA: Love Rudy, but couldn't vote for him because of his lack of ice coverage.

    Rudy for me.

Baiul's is probably my least favorite whenever I think of how that overscored technically. (Artistically, a triumph, but not so much on the technical front.)

She had a 3L-2t combination (slightly 2 footed, but a great outside edge and height)- same as other top ladies, a 2- flip (I think they did not allow a second triple jump those days, unless it was a part of the combination), a 2A. She had the best spins of all the ladies, and good footwork (remember it was not a COP program). You can dislike it as a personal taste, but I don't see how you can say it was not much on the technical front, when that's what all the other top ladies were doing (Kerrigan, Chen, Sato, Bonaly- out of these only Kerrigan had a clean 3L)
