Little Parker was born safe, sound and healthy this afternoon. He weighed 8 pounds something. Mom couldn't remember it all, but that's not as important as the fact he's here and healthy and his Mommy's okay and healthy too.
Lisa was supposed be induced on Monday, but her blood pressure started to spike. It was sky high on Thursday when she and Josh went in for their last appt and it was looking like they were going to admit her and induce then, but it went back down. It went back up again last night, they went to the hospital, she was admitted and when it came back down this morning induced and...
Even more importantly, she did such a wonderful job of managing her Type 1 Diabetes during the last nine months, Parker's blood sugar levels were perfectly normal when tested.
Anyway...He's here, everyone's okay and the next time I'm near a toy store is going to be very dangerous for my bank account.
I figured this was easier to do than PM'img everyone w/the fantastic news. So...Yeah...
I'M A GREAT AUNTIE!!!!!

Mazel Tov! How wonderful. Fabulous book to recommend: Baby 411 It has information in capsule form........a paragraph (about that rash) or a page about the spit up. Really nice when you don't have time to read a whole book.
