Where is Yuna?
I voted for Kristi Yamaguchi, the first with a 3Lutz/3Toe at the Olympics, such a good memory.
Tara Lipinski because her 3Loop/3Loop has always impressed me.
And Carolina Kostner because of her clean and big 3/3 and her 10 years of 3/3 at Euros and Worlds !
How come Yuna's money-makers, 3f3t and 3lz3t, didn't make the list? Seriously?
Just agreeing with everyone else that yuna should be on this list... This was a hard vote as i wanted to pick 4. I chose Midori ito, Carolina Kostner, Kristi yamaguchi and tara lipinski
When did Tonya do a 3Loop-3Toe?
Again, where is YuNa?
This is sort of like a spiral poll without MK, and Beillman poll without Denise, a spin poll without Lucinda Ruh
Hers is one of the few difficult 3-3s that would get consistently get ratified with big GOE under the strictest judges' eyes, and she did them all the time, including the SPs. You'd see a competition where lady after lady would be trying these small, underottated, squeeked out , fallen out, two-footed or splatted 3-3s. Then it came YuNa's turn and she'd land the humongous combo with height, distance , speed, she truly dominated the 3-3.
Yuna is the queen of triples-triples...I doubt we will see ladies with such combos for a long time (perhaps Gold, but hers don't have the fabulous speed going in)
Was Yuna deliberately left off? ...Konspiracy!!!![]()
I immediately thought of Yu-Na Kim when I saw the title, very surprised she's not one of the options. I'm not even a fan but her 3-3 combos are fantastic. Kostner has a fantastic 3flip/3toe when she does it, so from the options listed, my vote would be for her.
Mao also did 3R 3T
But my vote goes to Yuna and Tuktamisheva (who I think should have been included)
Midori and Michelle for their 3T/3T, which were beautiful from entry to exit ... Plus Irina for the 3Lz/3Lp, which is the best quality of that very difficult combination. If I could have voted for 4, then I would have added Miki since her jumps were so big.
I prefer big jumps, but Harding could have been better in 3/3s. I actually would give it to Kostner over Harding in 3/3s, although I think Harding was a better jumper, in general.
Yamaguchi, Lipinsky, and Asada's jumps seemed smallish, relatively.
... then Hughes and Bonaly.

I am in the K&C at the 1980 Olympics telling Frank Carroll he will have a male skater from KAZ with a 4T, 3A-3T and a World Silver going into the 2014 Olympics ...
Come on, Vash01 did that on purpose.
If Yuna is on the list, it's INSIPIDNESS.
I selected Midori, Tara and Tonya.
This too will pass away.
Midori, Carolina, Tonya.
No Kristi-she did little nimminy pimminy tiny rotator jumps.
But Yu Na should be in here!
I think Miki's 3z/3r is without a doubt the best that element has been done by any lady. Irina's lutz edge always went neutral and she only landed it "cleanly" three times that I'm aware of: 99/00 GPF, 01 Russian Nationals, 05 Worlds. Of the three, 2005 Worlds was the closest, and even though the panel gave her credit, it looks like more of a 1/4 turn cheat to me. Miki often cheated the loop as well, but when she hit it at her best, she could fully rotate it.
I consider Harding to be pretty much the best jumper ever, but am surprised anyone would vote for her in this poll. She only landed a 3/3 twice (91 Nationals-3t3t- and 88 Nationals-3r3t) and both had weak landings based on reports I've heard. ETA: There is no video footage of her long program at 88 Nationals but does anyone know if she beat Kadavy in the LP? I can't imagine her skating worse than Kadavy who was a total train wreck that year.
