Lucky are those who can go to/see this!
Thanks to them for sharing their commitment, gift, and joy in skating with the world.
Much fulfillment and happiness to S and Z in the years ahead, whatever they undertake.

They are no longer going to participate in shows/Galas after this final one.

They've retired more times than Kevin van der Perren.

Anyway, I wish them the best.

well, even though I love them and they have been my favorites since 2003, I am glad they aren't retiring of the figure skating world completely

Besides, their galas and shows started to look the same since some years ago and I'm sure we will see them skate again in few years
Congrats for all their accomplishments, China's pioneers and one of the all time greats!!

You do have to retire sometime. They have been fantastic ambassadors for the sport.
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?

I'm sure they are thinking it is high for time for a baby Shen/Zao, as they are nearing 40.

Xue Shen is 33, closer to 30 than to 40 (Zhao is 38). But after so many years together, it certainly makes sense that they would want to have a baby.

All the best to Shen & Zhao. I have seen them grown especially artistically and capping with the elusive Olympic gold was pure delight. Time to start a family and pass their wisdom, experience and passion to the younger generation.
