The Kween is so awesome.
She had a truly remarkable career and is still the standard when it comes to things like consistency, focus, mental toughness, grace, class, etc. Seeing all of these other skaters come and go with just a few stand-outs in between really makes me see the freak of nature Michelle actually was. She had so many amazing qualities in a combination that seems so hard (if not nearly impossible) to find nowadays. Definitely a one-in-a-million skater and so worthy of being included on this list.![]()

I'm happy to see Michelle receive her due - and rightful - place in athletic history.
It sends a message to those that don't consider figure skating "sport", as well.
