Whee, my copy arrived two days ago! Looking forward to digging in. Loving the chapter titles. A sampling: "Scooby Doo and the Blessed Virgin, Too!" "Smells like Holy Spirit" "Celibacy in the City" "Prayer in 140 Characters or Fewer."

I wrote a novel too, though I'm still in the process of trying to find a publisher (or rather my agent is!). My novel falls into the Young Adult category so it tends to be a bit harder to really sell someone on the concept...but my fingers are crossed. It took me two years as well but once you finish writing, it's so worth it. But to be published? I can't even imagine how amazing you must feel! It's my dream and ultimate goal in life to have my novel published. So from one writer to another congratulations! I know what it's like putting in the countless hours of planning, outlining, drafting, writing, revising, reading, revising and re-reading...it's endless! But to be honest, there's nothing about it that I didn't enjoy...well, the waiting process sucks but I loved everything about the writing.

I'm very happy for you and, again, congratulations!

Stick with it! Congrats on finishing your book, that's a monumental task! Getting published is so right place/right time (at least for me it was), and it can be easy to get discouraged, so just keep plugging away.

Thanks for the kind words and congratulations!

Thanks, never thought I'd be a published author, 11 years ago when I chose my username on the old FSW.

Congrats! I read the preview and bought the e-version. I didn't know you contribute also to The Busted Halo. I listen to that very occasionally (can't stand the host's cackling). Anyway, congratulations!
