Joubert shoud work with Yagudin, they have many similarities but how Yagudin sells his program is supergreat.![]()
Yes, in 2003-4 or so, but IIRC Yagudin and Morozov didn't get along, so that was the end of it.
I don't get the sense that Joubert is trying to emulate Yagudin as much in recent years as he used to, and his Inception LP doesn't look particularly Yagudin-like to me. And whatever Joubert's weaknesses are, I don't think inability to sell a program is really among them.
I really hope that we will see more pro competitions following the MWO, it was wonderful seeing so many great skaters competing again. I finally got around to seeing Slutskaya and it's incredible how good she looked, especially considering she was the oldest lady entered and has given birth twice since retiring.
