Thank you so much for the posting the photos! I'm getting nostalgic for the glory days of professional skating just reading through this thread. It sounds like it was a good event, and hopefully there will be more in the future.

This was a practice clip - has it been posted?
It is just amazing to see Kurt, Alexei and Ilia on the same ice.

If Jeffrey Buttle won, why are there no pictures of him during his skate? I've seen pics of others but not one of Jeffrey.
I saw in the links that Ilia skated to "Kashmir". As in Led Zeppelin!? Does anyone who was there know? Did it sound like classic rock to you? If so, cool... very cool...
Joannie and Sarah's had some disadvantages of the programs by using show programs. I do not think squeezing required elements into the show programs was quite successful.
Ilia's program was not very CoP friendly with rather lots of runs. I loved it a lot though.
I think it was the version with no vocal, and sounds more modern. I think I had heard it very recently somewhere else but I cannot recall what it was.
Thanks all - I wish it had been a cut from the original Kashmir but a cover will do nicely. I look forward to seeing it in person maybe someday somewhere.
I can't wait to see a video of Kurt's Singing in the Rain! I love the original program! if you find a video, please post! thanks!
For anyone with Keyhole TV, this competition is airing right now on TV Tokyo.
Just for notice, TV Tokyo is broadcasting MWO. KeyHole TV is available, I hope.

Slutskaya looked liked she had a great time. Those jumps were excellent!
She was fantastic! Her jumps were justand such a good strectch in her spirals, very impressive
I feel fortunate to see some of the finest skater from the 6.0 system competing together and you can only hope that there will be other competitions like this. You would think it could work in Europe and North America as well..
