Does anyone know if Evgeny Platov is married? I thought he was engaged a few years back.

Evgeny Platov has been married just once. Evgeny Plushenko is currently in his second marriage.

Evgeny Platov was engaged in 2009 to his longtime girlfriend, so I thought maybe they did get married by now. Does anyone know if they are still together? Just curious.

Well according to Wikipedia he was formerly married to Russian figure skater and actress Maria Anikanova. Hope that helps.

Yes they are still together my friend who works at Platovs ice rink saw her there at a show months ago

Yes, he was married to her in the 90s, but divorced and I think she later dated Ilia Kulik. Thanks for the info though

I was talking about the girlfriend that he has had for a long time that he was engaged to. In a interview from 2009 I think it was (you can find it on YouTube) he said he was engaged to his longtime girlfriend who is from Brooklyn NY and now lives in New Jersey. Since it's been a while since 2009, I just wondered if they had got married.

Kulik definitely dated Natalia Annenko (Genrich Sretensky's ex-wife) but it doesn't mean he couldn't date Anikanova of course. I just tought maybe you mix the names up.
Or it was Peter Tchernyshev who dated (and was married) to Annenko? Gosh how I hate these skating criss crosses!
