Love that song from Kelly but I wish she didn't just stand there and sing it. It has something extra on tour when she can move around and get into it more. She is looking so good lately, though.

This is the first time I have ever seen The Wanted perform. They are kind of odd but a few of them are very good looking.
One guy sounds like he has a speech impediment or something when he sings and I think they put autotune on his mic. Is he horrible live or something?
I always wonder if this song has a double meaning.

I quit watching because apparently the awards go to whomever is there. What's the point? I know Adele did not lose out on these awards.

To be fair, LMFAO has had Party Rock Anthem on the Billboard charts for a VERY long time and it might even set a record for the longest stay if it can hang on. So I can see that single winning its categories. But Taylor Swift winning over Adele? Taylor is no longer the chart dominator she used to be.

PRA is certainly catchy and I'll give it that. But the idea that they could win over someone like Adele just seems so intrinsically wrong!

But these awards are decided (supposedly) by the numbers. No votes. They use Billboard chart positions over the last year (March 2011 to Feb 2012 I think) and some other things like social media. I think they stick to it except in the case of absences by the winners and then they give it to whomever is next in line or they find a way to manipulate the numbers.

Any awards show that has 'talent' like LMFAO beating Adele for any awards is SO not worth my time. Glad I'm not watching although I'm bummed to have missed Kelly Clarkson's performance.

If it's really about the numbers and sales then it may be the most legitimate and objective awards show out there. Don't blame them, blame music consumers (all of us).
