I've started a new thread about Ross Miner's new official website: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83731

"Triple Axel is going to be his best friend by the end of the summer," Seibert said. "He promised."
Darn well better be, or he hasn't much of a future.
That leaves some time for costuming. Draper would be nothing without the right package: crisp shirt, smartly tailored suit and sharply barbered hair, perhaps with a touch of Brylcreem. That's quite a change from Rippon's current crop of blonde curls.

[QUOTE=Sylvia;3576612]New article: Rippon plans to skate like a mad man; Seibert gives skater new direction: 'It's an era, it's a cool guy'

This is so magnificently out there and hilarious, it could really work. Can't wait to see it!

Ha, if a lack of curls means I never have to hear the phrase "Angel Boy" again, I'll personally Fed Ex him a bottle of Nair.

    ^^^

BTW, Emmanuel Savary competed a Senior FS in an LA area club competition last week (scored 85.65) as did Andrew Gonzales (99.75). I believe Frank Carroll is still the primary coach of both. I don't know whether or not Savary has tested up yet or plans to do so. Gonzales was 6th in the deep Senior Men's field at Pacific Coast Sectionals in November 2011.

Adam needs to stop stalking that 3A: just do it! The stalking was starting to affect his 3Z as well.

I wouldn't have expected Savary to move up to Seniors so quickly, especially since he doesn't yet have a triple axel. I wonder what their strategy is.

I like Gonzales and hope he'll make it further this season.

Competing Senior at a non-qual competition this early in the season might be nothing more than "skating up" because no other Junior Men entered.

Angel boy is looking less angel-like judging from this picture he tweeted today. https://twitter.com/Adaripp/status/2...644353/photo/1
Maybe he can pull off Don Draper better than I thought...

Maybe he doesn't look angelic, but he certainly is a vision. (Would that be a costume violation?)

Actually, I think this photo is more Don Draper-esque : https://twitter.com/Adaripp/status/2...515457/photo/1

Here's Douglas Razzano posing with the same "hot chick in the bikini" (Bianca Butler, former U.S. national/junior international pair skater): https://twitter.com/DouglasRazzano/s...641921/photo/1

Ross Miner tweeted this action photo from Hawaii yesterday (he and the Shibutanis seem to be having a blast there, based on their tweets!): http://instagr.am/p/LEkF2URVRs/

^Men in FS are more buff thru the upper body than I'd imagined

There's not a lot of bells and whistles connected to Doug Razzano and his skating style, but he's turning into a fave of mine for some unknown reason ... I'm fast turning into a fan of Doug, Josh and Richard (I hope I don't have to give up hope on the last one)

Fascinating direction for Adam to take. It should be fun and productive working with Seibert.

Thematic idea reminds me of my past suggestion for Tomas Verner to channel some of Steve McQueen's 1960s cool:
