I wonder if Rockne is able to get a partner after the nationals...
I didn't realize D/C would be petitioning to Worlds.
Denney/Coughlin have been assigned to Worlds. (I'm assuming it's provisional, based on monitoring his condition and their preparedness.)

I caught this on Icenetwork, too: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/artic...&vkey=ice_news
Shouldn't the USFSA wait until they see how healed John is before assigning them to Worlds???

Caydee Denney/John Coughlin
Alternate 1 - Alexa Scimeca/Chris Knierim
Alternate 2 - Felicia Zhang/Nathan Bartholomay
Alternate 3 - Lindsay Davis/Mark Ladwig
I totally assumed that Worlds would be C/S and S/K. Didn't even think D/C would be in the mix.
S/K still need to keep training hard, I just have a feeling they will be going to Worlds. Love to see them get there.

Kevin: He compared Scott to a disposable feminine cleansing product one might use on a summer's eve.
Meagan: Yeah, and the bag it came in. -The Big Bang Theory, performed by the Canadian WTT team and interpreted by Cyn.
Especially considering that D&C and S&K train together. S&K will be well aware of the likelihood of D&C being ready.

I agree. It's especially interesting that they train at the same rink.
I hope John doesn't push too hard and injure himself for next year. At least S/K get 4C in any case.
I think that S/K have much higher potential internationally than D/C. Maybe not this year, they need one more season to build, but as of right now they're my bet for the highest-placing US team in Sochi.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe.
I'm excited to see S/K develop, hopefully with outside choreography.
Yes, their basics are all there. Chris is an excellent partner, he seems so secure in the lifts and his feet look neat in the turns. I especially love how gently he sets her down and I remember that he was good at that skill with all his partners. Alexa is lovely and fits him so well. I'm getting excited about this team and pray they stay together (I'm still not over Marley/Brubaker,).

I, too, was really impressed with S/K. I hope they can stick it out for a long time.

I love S/K. They are beautiful on the ice, and they have a "star quality." If only D/S could get their act together, too, because S/K and D/S are now officially my favorite US pairs teams!
Why would USFSA not assign a 3rd alternate to the World Juniors team? If they are building a pair program like they say they are wouldn't that help one of the developing teams?
Well, Brenna Doherty already on IcePartnerSearch...and so the post-US Nationals begins???
