The first JGP event is in a month's time (ok, 5 weeks) and they still haven't posted who competes. I am getting impatient for the season to start!

Entries by name are due tomorrow, Sunday, July 22nd. ISU will publish the list sometime after that, probably midweek.

Czech Republic "long list" of JGP entries (as per junior entries to August test skate and previous decisions of CFSA Board), dividing the events depend on if the skater would be succesfully fulfilling the elements criterias during the test skate on August 25th.:

    Junior Men:
Petr Coufal (JN no 1 - two JGP, probably AUT and CRO)
Tomas Kupka (JN no 2 - one JGP, probably TUR)
Marco Zakouril (JN no 3 - one JGP, probably GER)
subst. (per alphabetical order as I do not what would be the decision if anybody from the above would not be fulfilling the criterias or would be injured): Pavel Dornak, Martin Krhovjak, Jan Kupka.

CZE will not be using slots in FRA and USA (as fas as I know nobody was interested in going).

    Junior Ladies:
Elizaveta Ukolova (JN no 1 - two JGP, probably TUR and CRO)
Eliska Brezinova (JN no 2 - one JGP, probably AUT)
Jana Coufalova (JN no 3 - one JGP, probably GER)
subst. (per alphabetical order as I do not what would be the decision if anybody from the above would not be fulfilling the criterias or would be injured): Jirina Geyerova, Adela Jelinkova, Nastasiya Lobachevskaya, Laura Raszykova, Klara Svetlikova and Daria Zaychenko.

CZE will not be using slot in the USA (too expensive for the ladies).

    Junior Ice Dance:
Karolina prochazkova / Michal Ceska (SN no 3 - two JGP, probably AUT and TUR)
Jana Cejkova / Alexandr Sinicyn (JN no 1 - one JGP, probably GER)
Karolina Prochazkova / Michal Ceska (JN no 2 - one JGP, probably SLO)
subst. Mariya Ukolova / Jaroslav Brtek (JN no 3)

Unfortunately, no pairs this season, two were in the making through spring but one was not surviving due to parents seeing their child as future single World Champion and the other one suffered from small workship of the girl and their start to the season is postponed to ... (who knows ).

    Thankyou!

Does this mean a long wait for the next ones?

Well, the entry form deadline for Lake Placid is 27/7/12 plus some time (week) for processing so do not expect anything before then.

Here's the "JGP Entries" (all countries) general thread in 2012-13 Kiss and Cry where the official entry lists are being/will be posted and discussed: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=84309
(And for USA-centric discussion, go to the "2012-13 U.S. JGP Assignment Predictions/Speculation/Discussion" thread in the Trash Can. )

I've copied out all the JGP Lake Placid entry list names in the "JGP Entries" thread in Kiss and Cry: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...0&postcount=24

Question asked in the German news thread:

At the moment the roof of the Ice Arena in Dresden is under repair and according to the newspapers this is expected to be finished at the end of October. But the JPG is supposed to take place Oct. 10 - 14. Or will it be at another place (i.e. Chemnitz) or even cancelled?
Here's the answer (posted yesterday in the JGP Entries thread):

JGP Germany has a new venue, it now lists Chemnitz.
