Very lovely, thank you for sharing. They seem like super cool moms!
Loved this interview, and I plan to share it with some friends. Thanks!![]()
Thank you so much for sharing this. I loved the interview and the pictures too!
When you change the way you look at things, everything you look at changes.
Loved it, interviews from parents are so insightful.
There are mentions of Domnina & Shabalin and Denkova & Staviski here for those who are interested.
Thank you so much!

Fantastic interview!
Thanks very much for sharing it with us.
Lovely interview and pics! Great job!

Does anyone have an idea what Domnina & Shabalin program she was admiring?
Domnina in a yellow dress with drums? In the 2006 to 2007, maybe 2008 time frame, which would be early in Meryl & Charlie's senior career?
Maybe their Olympic FD to Spirit Dances (Oksana was in gold)?

Conflated with their Olympic OD, which had drums?
The only really yellow dresses I could find were these two:
2004 CD, she was definitely in yellow

It's not this onebut I couldn't resist

Great interview, thanks. They seem to have such a level head about the sport - no wonder they've raised such grounded kids.

What a great interview for Mother's Day. Great ladies and families. So sane. So normal. Love it.
at Charlie's first Eleanor's Dream costume. No wonder they ditched it!!
They do seem like really level-headed people who've raised level-headed kids. There should be more level-headed people in skating! (though many of you may disagree and long for)
BARK LESS. WAG MORE.
Great interview! I read it on my phone the other day and so I only saw a small picture of Charlie's costume. My first thought was "oh, that is quite bad". Now that I've seen it on my real computer, it's worse. He looks like a chorus member from spamalot!
Kevin: He compared Scott to a disposable feminine cleansing product one might use on a summer's eve.
Meagan: Yeah, and the bag it came in. -The Big Bang Theory, performed by the Canadian WTT team and interpreted by Cyn.
There is this but it's from 2003 and I don't think they performed it in later years. Meryl & Charlie weren't senior yet, in fact they probably weren't even junior yet in 2003.

Their moms have good taste! Samson & Delilah is my favorite D&W program as well and their choices in other dancers were quite voidy.
Wonderful interview! Thank you - it's always great to get a little picture of the background behind the skaters.![]()
Very good interview. I had never seen that clip of ER before. It is amazing to see how that routine evolved (both choreography and costuming).
You said you narrowed it down to five questions, but I would LOVE to read a "part 2" if something like that exists. Great job and great skating moms!
