Interesting!
In my spare time, I like to interview figure skating legends.
Thanks! I like Massimo's quote in the article.
Ya think???"On the ice, I can relate to Anastasia in a different way than I related to Madison," he said. "It adds a whole different element that I didn't even realize was part of the skating, and I think that it can actually be a pretty big component.
Best to them in their new partnership!!
BARK LESS. WAG MORE.
Good for them!
Now that Vanessa Crone is definitely not continuing to skate with Keiffer, any word of what she is planning now?
I can't wait to see Keiffer skate again!
I'm happy for Keiffer.![]()
That's great for Keiffer.. I wish them well!
Great News!!
Bumping this up with updates...
There was a working-behind-the-scenes photo of Olson's former partner published in IceNetwork's photo gallery of the recent Detroit SC show with the caption: "Retired ice dancer Jordan Cowan has moved behind the scenes. (He's also teaching ballroom dancing.)"
Crone partnered with Nikolaj Sorensen briefly but they have since split: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83581
ETA:
Re-posting relevant items from the Shpilband/Zoueva Split Aftermath thread:

International (non-USA) teams currently training at DSC:I think that brings it up to a minimum of 15 teams. I read he was working with Plushenko on choreography too. Even with a large coaching team assisting him he must be a very busy man to fit all that in.
Pechalat and Bourzat (FRA)
Weaver and Poje (CAN)
Alessandrini and Vaturi (ITA)
O'Brien and Merriman (AUS)
Paul and Islam (CAN) - summer
I assume the junior team of Johanna Allik/Paul Bellantuono (EST) are still together.
There are at least 7 U.S. teams currently coached by Camerlengo, Krylova, Scali, Annenko-Deller and Liz Punsalan-Swallow and they are:
SR - Madison Hubbell/Zachary Donohue, Anastasia Olson/Keiffer Hubbell (new), Lauri Bonacorsi/Ian Lorello (new);
JR - Alexandra Aldridge/Daniel Eaton, Kaitlin Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (new), Jessica Mancini/Brad Kleffman (new), Holly Moore/Daniel Klaber (novice champs, now full-time at DSC, I believe).
