i'd like to keep the temptations over the house band
I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!

Maybe, but I'd still keep him over the house band!

Maybe she'll sing tonight. It would be so amazing if she opened the show.

Martha sounded pretty rough. The others sounded good, even though the Temptations were a bit off at times with their choreography, still so much better than the house band.

They just really need to hire new singers for the house band. When they do instrumental music, they don't sound that bad - the singers though... yikes!

I used to wonder why whiteys don't get to do Motown. The suckage that Human Nature answered that question.

Not me. All he did was stand there and let Cheryl climb all over him. And then during the marathon, he practically knocked her over so he could go and and slide across the floor. Big deal. It's a dancing competition, NOT a "watch a hunky guy try to show off" contest.

My thoughts exactly. They should have been eliminated from the marathon WAY before they were. Final 2??? Seriously???

It was like he was a Batman villain wearing a wax mask. Scary.

He can still sing, though. I remember on a TV show way back when he sang "Tears of a Clown" and Canio's big aria from "I Pagliacci".

I thought Melissa Gilbert was lovely. In DWTS KnC, Max looked like Evan Lysacek

I didn't like Katherine's dancing very much this week: it was like she was Botoxed from the shoulders up. There was something strangely stiff about the way she used her head and she wasn't getting much motion through her shoulders.

If all of the choreography was academic ballroom, I could see Len Goodman's complaints about Roshon being too hip hop, although I'm not really seeing it, but since there so much inappropriate music in general, and so many routines that give mostly nods to the genres and technique, I think he should STFU. It's odd that he's being especially cranky about a Disney star (from the parent company).

I was thinking about how no one in that studio had accomplished what Gladys Knight has in her career.

Love watching Donald Driver's smile and enthusiasm watching his fellow competitors: he just lights up the room.

Melanie from SYTYCD is in the Macy's Stars of Dance number.

Tonight one of the guest performers is Michaela DePrince, who was one of the featured dancers in a documentary released last year called "First Position", about a group of dancers who competed at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in 2009:

According to Tom Bergeron, the judges are supposed to make their decision on who to save based on the dance duel ONLY (and not on who is their sentimental fave). We'll see if this happens today.

Roshon and Gladys are bottom 2. Neither has danced the Jive yet.

That should have been unanimous. What is Carry Ann on??

Don't get me wrong. I love Gladys, but Roshon was better.

Roshon's timing was off from Chelsie's quite a bit in that dance. I also think that he had an advantage over Gladys in that the light colour of his and Chelsie's costume stood out more than the black of Gladys' and Tristan's, which made you want to focus more on them.

Watching Gladys this season has been such a joy. She's been so happy and positive throughout every single week, she's never made one single complaint about the rigorous schedule or the physical demands required to be a participant on this show, even when she's YEARS older than many people who've whined and complained about said demands in past seasons. Listening to and reading about all the kind words everybody has for Gladys just warms my heart. Knowing that this was probably going to be the last week she was going to be on the show, I watched the last 10 minutes or so of the broadcast with tears welling up a bit in my eyes. She's such a classy woman, and really deserves every great moment that comes her way. Thank you, Gladys, for all of the great memories you've given me with your participation on DWTS!

I think it's sad that Roshon was bottom 2. That kid can dance!
