Wow!!! He was the right one to go this week. Glad it happened this way. Gives Hollie and Elise another chance to improve. I really thought that Elise would be leaving.

I predicted Colton to win but am glad to be wrong, he seems like he was getting a little above it all and bored with the show from what I saw last week.

Tonight the judges (especially Randy) seemed rather erm, subdued and restrained when Ryan asked them if the B2 was correct (IOW, none of that "America got it wrong" crap from last week). I have a feeling TPTB had a little sit-down after that mess of a result show and told them to knock if off. Now if only they'll stop with the "Don't send [Joshua/Jessica] home!" // "Keep [Joshua/Jessica] in this!!" bullshit

While it wasn't too much of a shock that Elise was in the B3, I was that she was immediately sent back to the Couch of Content.

JLo seems to have problems with some of the women. Last year it was Haley. This year, it is Hollie. JLo is all over the guys.

JLo really is such a phony. I love that Hollie and Elise outlasted Colton. I thought Colton was the one who deserved to go home this week, but I definitely didn't think it would happen.

I think Colton's loss is Skyler's gain. Lots of his votes will go to her. Phillip may get some of those as well.

I can't see those two being the finale I think it will be Skylar and Phillip. I won't mind at all if Jessica is in the finale, though, because I think she's very talented. She's not my taste in music, but Skyler certainly isn't either.

Jessica sang beautifully this week, but she still seems to imitate whoever the original performer is.

Phillip's first performance was my favorite of the night.

I think Jimmy was right, when he said that the songs that Jessica has been singing have been too old for her. This might be part of the reason, that it has been difficult for her to connect with the music and audience with her. It took them long enough to realize this. I hope she can sing a song that is more age appropriate. We might see a different Jessica. One can hope, but I think she needs time to grow into it.

What makes Skylar and Phillip good, is that they are comfortable in their own skins and know who they are.

ITA birdgal. Jessica should have waited a few years to be on the show. But, given how young she is, she should be singing songs more suited to her age. I don't know why it took Jimmy so long to figure that out.

Also agree about Skylar and Phillip knowing who they are and being comfortable with it.
