    Pulitzer Prizes Announced

    The Pulitzer Foundation has announced this year's prize winners. Interestingly they declined to give an award for two categories.

    I know after Manning's death, many discussed how sad it was his life work would be published posthumously (he passed away just about three days before his book came out). This is quite a tribute to his work.

    Very glad to see someone from The Stranger in Seattle get an award. The Stranger does an excellent job (sex advice columnist Dan Savage works there).

    Hmmm...trying to remember the last time they didn't given an award for editorial writing.

    And this makes the third time since 2006 that a Denver photographer has won the feature photography Pulitzer. (Craig Walker, who won today, also won two years ago.)
