He did try Mariposa a few years ago after Mr. Colson's passing, but it was NOT a good fit, especially for Mrs. Chan. Choreographers Wilson and Buttle had been rumored since Cdn's in Moncton. I have a feeling the Chans didn't have a plan before pushing out Crall: I don't think they expected the choice of a new coach to be this arduous.

BTW, Doug Haw does NOT have an honourable reputation.

I wouldn't call a highly qualified coach as not honourable.... is there something else behind that comment??

Doug Haw has coached many junior and senior level skaters and Brian Orser in some of his professional competitions as well. He is a highly respected coach in Canada.

Confirmed! Patrick will have new coach/es and choreographer/s. Shall we make guesses on this thread?
Biggest thing I noticed in the article is that he's going to have two new programs, which means he won't be dong Aranjuez this year. Probably means his Worlds ex will be one of the programs.

Maybe, maybe not. I saw his elegy live in Korea. It is an audience friendly program, with lots of eye contacts and movements towards the sides of the ice.

If Patrick wants it as a competition program, I suspect Wilson/Buttle should modifiy it heavily.

At the World Team Trophy, because his modern dance teacher is not permitted to stand at the barrier with Patrick before he skates, he was minded by Joanne Mcleod. I know she was also there with Kevin reynolds, but i think having lessons from joanne is another option.

    Joanne... no no no... never.
Do you want him to unlearn what he has learnt from Mr Colson?

I am thinking more Kurt and or Josee Chouinard!

    Run, Patrick!!!
Q: Why can't I read the competition threads?
A: Competition forums on the board are available to those with a Season Pass or a premium membership How to View Kiss & Cry

On the bright side, since he wants to be in Toronto and Joanne is in Vancouver, not bloody likely! YAY!

I highly doubt she'll be back from her retirement to take care of Patrick.

She is coming to Australia to do a skating camp in July.

Manon is not "retired" per se. She's working for the QC Section, and doing some work for Skate Canada as well. This has prevented her from taking on any students of her own due to possible conflict of interest.

Yes, what you are saying is the correct information. I should have mentioned more details.
