I must say that this has got to be one of Carolina's best exhibition programs! I usually was never a big fan of her up-beat gala programs, I just like her lyrical much much better, but this is such a fun, charming and entertaining program! I hope we can get an HQ vid from All That Skate soon.
^ No, she said in several interviews that she will take her time to decide whether she will keep competing or not. I don't know when she will have the time to properly relax and reflect though, her schedule for the next couple of weeks is super busy and she has been very busy since Worlds too. I guess once GP assignments are released, we might hear something concerning her decision.
Here is a HQ version of "It's Oh So Quiet" at All That Skate. Brilliant, she totally rocks it!!!

Carolina is USSA's Athlete of the Month for April:

Congrats Carolina and thanks everyone for voting!
wow, she did. Great. She really deserved this honer
wow, Carolina looks great in that dress/hair. she should wear her fringe out more often.
I hope she stays and competes until Sochi.. I know she often screws up at the Olympics but she really has a better chance of winning a medal this time around, as she was never World Champion before either.
I think it's not only being a World Champion what will give her a better chance to win a medal, but also the fact that it looks like she has now learned how to control her nerves. And I admit a couple of years ago I thought this would never happen - sometimes it's just so good to be wrong.![]()
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
I wonder when she will announce whether she will stay competitive or not. GP assignments are released later this month, right? I know she has been terribly busy since Worlds and probably hasn't had time to properly sit down and reflect yet.
I guess there is a possibility that she will not do the GP but maybe come back for Euros? But on the other hand, the more competitions she does the better and more consistent she has become during seasons ...
I will miss her terribly if she decides to retire![]()
^ me neitherIt's true, she has always said that either she will retire officially and then only do shows. If she stays in competition, she wants to do it 100%. I wonder when she decides ...
Some news
Carolina has been honoured by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for her achievements: http://www.sportnews.bz/index.php?id...8c772808deae86
Thank you for the update! Good for Carolina to receive more honours!
However, I hardly can imagine her doing service in a jailhouse.
(As the link is in German, for those not able to read the article - she has been promoted to the rank of a major jailhouse constable in relation to her service unit)
Some news, seems like Carolina hasn't decided whether she will continue competing or not, she signed up for the GP just in case. Here is a video for everyone speaking Italian: http://video.gazzetta.it/?vxSiteId=f...&vxBitrate=300
