From the current skaters Lambiel is also a fan of Daisuke Takahashi, likes Denis Ten (he has already done choreo for Ten, and apparently intends to do a new one for the next season) and Javier Fernandez, respects also Plushenko and Joubert.

In this new interview Reut did with Stephane Lambiel for Absolute Skating, Lambiel said when asked about the scoring system,

"On the other hand I think it's interesting because the fantastic champions still, even with all those rules, find new things and bring more than just the elements.
