Justus Strid from Denmark said at worlds he really loves Jeremy Abbott's artistry.
I think, from this it's quite obvious whom he is a fan of - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWvI5lJ1zvQ
From the current skaters Lambiel is also a fan of Daisuke Takahashi, likes Denis Ten (he has already done choreo for Ten, and apparently intends to do a new one for the next season) and Javier Fernandez, respects also Plushenko and Joubert.
Mishe Ge - Yagudin, Plushenko, Takahashi
Yuzuru Hanyu - Arakawa, Plushenko, Johnny Weir
I think for most of Japanese skaters (ladies included) Plushenko is an idol. Or maybe I could say he is god for them.
Brian also mentionned he liked Stojko.
Han Yan, the current Junior World Champion says his favourite skater is Chan.
Monika Simancikova(from Slovakia)'s favorite is Sasha Cohen & Yuna Kim.

Asked if there was a skater she admired as she was growing up Kim answered without hesitation. "Michelle Kwan."
[in April 2011 korean article..]
"When I was little, my idol was figure skater Michelle Kwan. Her performance at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics inspired me.
I watched Michelle's performance hundreds of times and I would imitate her expressions and sometimes try out my own versions.
I was deeply impressed by her incredible talent and her devotion for figure skating.
I always admired the way she would captivate the audience with her charismatic performances, and how seriously she took figure skating.
I also respect Michelle for her devotion and hard work in another field, walking toward a new chapter in her life after her skating career."

I love Yuna's consistency of admiring Kwan. lol![]()

Here is a clip of Patrick when he mentions he would like to skate like Lambiel, and if he could skate pairs it would be with Yu na Kim.

In this new interview Reut did with Stephane Lambiel for Absolute Skating, Lambiel said when asked about the scoring system,
"On the other hand I think it's interesting because the fantastic champions still, even with all those rules, find new things and bring more than just the elements. That's why I love Tessa and Scott (Virtue/Moir), because when you watch them you don't see the rules, you see the story, the emotion."

"This, after all, is opera, opera in New York, not some dainty pastime like professional hockey..." -- Chip Brown, NYT Magazine 24 Mar 13
Meryl Davis said she really admired Abbott's skating and his musicality (something to that affect).
