The great thing about Carson is that he gets the job done in a most unobtrusive way. He gets that it's not about him and he's okay with that.

ITA. I don't really notice him. As opposed to Ryan Seacrest, who is annoying. It boggles my mind that he's going to get paid $45 million for hosting three more seasons of AI. Why on earth would someone think he's worth that much? The judges on The Voice don't make that much combined, and I'd take any one of them over Ryan.

Team Adam: America saves Tony. No surprise. Bye, Mathai. She will sing for the save against Katrina (and lose.)

Team CeeLo: America saves Jamar. Haha! Juliet vs. Cheesa for save. I know what I hope but I have no idea what CeeLo will do.

Tony? I'm not surprised with his legion of Timberlake twitter followers. Jamar, double blah. If he didn't have a story, he'd be out this week.

I don't think that Juliet had her best night. And then there's Cheesa. Plus, they really pushed Jamar's backsorty last night. And maybe fans of his BFF, Gokey, voted for him too. I'm perfectly fine with him staying over Cheesa.

Yeah. I try not to hold Gokey against Jamar, but his constant inspirational speeches and milking of his life story make that really hard.

    Team Adam:
Mathai sings "Cowboy Casanova" by Carrie Underwood. Huh?
I actually dig what she's trying to do but I think the vocal is missing the mark. It was kinda rough.

mathai makes each song sound like it has 100 more words than the original

all her songs are like some long winded non catchy poem

Katrina singing "Perfect" by Pink. She's the Queen of Songs That Need To Die!

If Adam doesn't save Katrina there might be a riot.

So, I'll just be the bitch. Jamar did a bunch of drugs and got a horrible disease. I'm not saying he deserved it in any way, shape, or form, but I'm sort of over people lauding those that have made really stupid decisions. Yes, good for him, he picked himself up. But his choices were, clean up or death. He's not a villain that should be stoned off the island, but nor is he a hero or the poster child for inspirational stories.

I always notice the editing of the song when Mathai sings. I'm not even really familiar with this song, but I'll bet I can tell where the edited lyrics went. I rarely notice with the other singers, but I always do with her.

High praise from Blake and Christina for Katrina. Disagree with the song choice though. Pink's another one that needs to shut the pitty party down.

    God, yes.

What's up with Lindsey's hair? It looks normal.

Adam drags it out as long as possible only to make the obvious decision: Katrina.

Adam is the worst rambler ever, but I'll forgive him for saving Katrina.

Maybe he was scared that Xtina would knife him if he didn't.

    It's the Y (chromosome) factor.

Why did the judges act like Poor Man's Adele Katrina burned the barn down with her performance just now? She was flat a lot and I hate her inability (or refusal) to sustain a note. Still, it wasn't worse than Mathai's performance.

Slightly behind here, but that Florence + The Machine chick is only 25. Someone is not aging well.

    Team CeeLo:

Cheesa sings "Already Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. I think it's awful, but CeeLo is probably loving it.

Ouch, she's really flat on the low notes. Not good.
