    Happy Easter!

    Happy Easter! May those of you who have fasted, feast well today!

    I am deciding what to have for breakfast! I think cheese on vita weats, vanilla coffee and a little Easter egg! I have a parcel from home waiting for me! (It's just past midnight, Easter Sunday for me, so I'll wait a few hours still )

    I went to the vigil at St Patrick's Cathedral; it was so beautiful. It starts out with all the lights extinguished, of course, and I got the shivers when the candles were lit. 6 people were baptized at the mass and got a huge round of applause when it was done.
    When the mass was over, a whole posse of people practically stormed the altar to snap pictures of Cardinal Dolan. What's up with that? I could understand if it had been the Pope. (Though I personally would be too intimidated to snap a photo of him) By all accounts Dolan is a very congenial man and an excellent Archbishop, but why would anyone take his photo when they can see him in person at mass every week? It's not like he's some recluse who only turns up in church on Christmas and Easter.

    Perhaps the people taking the pictures only show up for Christmas and Easter!

    Possibly, but then why would they want his photo? They probably didn't even know who he was.
