It's official: Caitlin Yankowskas & Joshua Reagan have paired up

The article was originally posted by flyingsit in the "Status of US Pairs This Season" thread but I think it deserves its own thread here in GSD:
    http://web.icenetwork.com/news/artic...&vkey=ice_news

Best wishes to this new U.S. pair!

I love how happy (and relieved!) Caitlin sounds while talking about finally finding a new partner. Best of luck to them next season

"After I flew down to Dallas the next week, things kept getting better, and I knew this was it, he was the one. This is all I've ever wanted. I can't tell you how happy I am. Just to skate pairs again makes my life complete."

I wish they had shown a pic of her with her new partner, rather than that pic with her old partner. I hope the two zoom to the top.

Finally! Good for Caitlin. I hope this new partnership works out for her!

Anyone else curious for the inevitable showdown between this new pair and Denney/Coughlin at next year's Nationals? The back story, fans taking sides, etc.

First of all, congrats to both of them. Hope they have a great season.

I don't normally have a dirty mind, I really am a prude, but on my screen the article was much more interesting when you only read half of certain sentences, roflol! (It opened in a half-minimized window)

"...all the talk backstage was about the beautiful, new American girl, with people saying she was '[program] component rich.'"
(They had to clarify what component she was rich in, lol)

"...so we said, 'Let's grab onto that,' " he said. "At the tryouts, you could see how much they both wanted it. They're both adults, and they're setting reasonable goals."

'"We saw right away that Josh could improve his components using her assets..."

Figure skating chatter is interesting, to say the least. A creative editor could make a bodice-ripper out of these articles, lol.
